Abstract
An interview with Allison Rich. She is the Director of Athletics at the University of New Hampshire (UNH), where she leads a twenty-sport NCAA Division I program with a focus on athletic and academic excellence, student-athlete welfare, and community engagement. Appointed in July 2022, Rich brought nearly three decades of experience in collegiate athletics administration, having held leadership roles at Princeton University, Florida State University, and the NCAA national office. A graduate of Princeton with a B.A. in History, she earned her Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a Doctorate in Educational Administration from the University of the Pacific. Her legal expertise has proven instrumental in shaping policy and governance across the NCAA, including serving as President of the Sports Lawyers Association and Vice Chair of the NCAA Division I Infractions Appeals Committee.
