Dr. James W. Day Dr. Day has served on the faculty of the College of Law since 1921. He is recognized as one of the country's foremost authorities in the field of real property law. The Lawyers' Title Guaranty Fund recognized Dr. Day's contributions to the legal profession in the Spring of 1960 by making him the first recipient of their annual Award of 1,000.00 which is to be presented annually to a distinguished professor of real property.
